The picture above is showing the current Disney Princesses. The original franchise of Disney princess were Cinderella, Aurora, Belle and Snow White. Later, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Tiana and Rapunzel joined them as the Official Disney Princesses. Not all of them are princesses you know.. That's the reason I conclude an idea to write these countdown. What would be the criteria of Disney to declare an official princess? Is it the beauty? The Brain? Or the title royalty in blood or in marriage of a character? There were many Disney characters that I think deserves to be one of them. And the Top 10 Underrated Disney Princesses are here.

Jane Porter was the character from the hit the film "Tarzan". She became the wife of Tarzan at the end the film. She was very kind to animals , especially monkeys. Jane was not really a princess , but in the story, Tarzan was acclaimed as the king of the jungle, that made her the queen of the jungle. For me she really deserves to be an official princess, after all the film was a hit.

Tinker Bell is a character from Disney's "Peter Pan". Think only described as "a common fairy" by her creator for she was only a supporting character. She was starring in her own series of films. She was a pixie but she really deserves to be a Disney Princess.

Megara is a character from the film "Hercules". She may not be a princess but her heart was clean. She even sacrifices her soul for Hercules. She has a great voice. Why she can't be a Disney Princess, after all she married a greek god.

Alice is the protagonist in the film "Alice in Wonderland". She was very curious that made her gone to Wonderland. Alice once seen in a photo where she was with the Official Disney Princesses in a tea table. Though she was still excluded to the official line-up. Alice in Wonderland is an epic, wish she was declared as a Disney Princess.

Esmeralda is a character from "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame" . In the film Esmeralda always helped Quasimodo, the hunchback. She wants to have a freedom to live peacefully to the outcast people. She may not be a princess but she is a good mother, wife and a friend. Make her a Disney Princess Now Please!

Minnie Mouse is not really a princess but in some Disney films she is. Minnie Mouse was a legend because she was the only wife of Mickey Mouse, known as the first character of disney! That make her as royal. Well after all, she no may become a princess but she became a front liner of disney.

You may not recognize her but she is a real princess, heroine and later on became Queen. The code also known as Princess Kidakagash is the princess of Atlantis. She was the one to sacrifice herself for her people to live still. That made her noble. The only question to her was, why she is not an Official Disney Princess? She was a really amazing character in the film.
